Edmond Hawila

Edmond is an IT professional with more than 20 years experience in the sector and strong communication, training and presentation skills. What distinguishes him from others, however, is his Volunteering, Activism and Environmental preservation work.

A natural in communication, he has enhanced his skills through his involvement with Personal Development including a Toastmasters membership, a global non-profit organisation focused on making Communication and Leadership skills accessible to everyone. Edmond’s love to serve has enabled him to build and officially charter a new local club in Limassol called Positive Minds, to bring these essential skills to everyone in the community and beyond.

As a member of the Politics Committee and Deputy Secretary of the Limassol area for the Cyprus Green Party, which he has participated in for over 10 years, he has devoted his time, knowledge and efforts towards a better, healthier and more humane community.

Last but not least, he is a lover of the environment, taking it upon himself to inspire others and align his lifestyle with his views. A major part of this is his turn to veganism in 2019, as well as his outspoken approach in spreading fact-based knowledge about our impact on the planet. He does this through extensive volunteer work for multiple organizations including the Firefighters of the World, Friends of the Earth and the Cyprus Green Party.
