Edmond has been very active in his professional life both in Cyprus and in the UK through numerous experiences, currently having more than 20 years of experience in the IT sector under his belt. He spent time with small local companies as well as large global corporations. He worked with V.Ships for 3,5 years, the largest ship management company worldwide and he spent 6,5 years at Deloitte Cyprus, one of the Big 4, where he was responsible for the Limassol and Larnaca offices and was involved in several island-wide as well as global projects. Through this experience, he acquired precious knowledge about global corporate IT technologies, processes, cybersecurity and governance within his sector. In addition to that, he became a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) in 2006 and obtained a Diploma in Marketing from the Cyprus Institute of Marketing in 2011. He also became a Storage Craft Certified Engineer in 2015.
Due to the financial crisis of 2008, he decided to explore more career options in the UK, eventually spending three years there working as an IT Support and Infrastructure Engineer as well as a HelpDesk Developer at Correct Group and EJC IT respectively.
He then returned to Cyprus in 2016, where he led the country expansion of Correct Group Ltd. through the position of COO. Almost 5 years since his return to Cyprus, he still holds the same position and mentors all staff, which increased from 2 to 10 people within the first year and has been going strong ever since. Moreover, he has single-handedly also obtained multiple local SMEs as clients, guided by the principles of excellent technology know-how as well as elite customer service, efficiency, and a hands-on approach.
